Catalina:  Coronado School

In conjunction with the IMPACT of Southern Arizona After School Program, Teens Sew Cool delivers a sewing class that meets once a week to teach sixth through eighth grade boys and girls how to sew.  We meet each fall and spring on Tuesdays in nine-week sessions from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

We usually offer a 4-week session during June through IMPACT's summer programs as well.

Eight students attend each session. Students learn sewing basics and how to use a sewing machine.  Projects include such items as a tote bag, pillowcase, binder/notepad covers, drawstring pants, fleece hat and scarf, several different pillows, stuffed animals and a raggedy quilt.
