Teens Sew Cool

San Manuel - San Manuel High School

In conjunction with the San Manuel Jr/Sr High School after School Program, Teens Sew Cool has a sewing class that meets once a week to teach the teens and preteens of the area how to sew. We have extended our program to include the local elementary schools.  We meet each fall and spring on Wednesdays in nine week sessions from 3:15 - 5:15.  Teens Sew Cool has our own classroom so that it is a wonderful sewing setting.

In the past, the students have learned how to use a sewing machine, make a tote bag, locker organizer, pair of drawstring pants, fleece hat and scarf, jacket, photo pillow, beanbag chair and a fringe quilt.
